Related-Party Disclosure: IDAA and EXCH Consulting LLC are affiliated organisations. EXCH Consulting LLC is a Founding Partner of IDAA. Accordingly, EXCH Consulting LLC's status as a 1CAD Protocol Partner, and any related certificate or designation, reflects this affiliated, related-party relationship and does not constitute independent, third-party accreditation, certification or endorsement.

2. Acceptance of Terms

3. Purpose and Scope

• The International Digital Asset Association (IDAA)
• The 1CAD Protocol (First Capital Architecture Defence)

4. IDAA Services

4.1 Standards Development

IDAA is a non-profit standards initiative. The 1CAD Protocol is a voluntary documentation and evidence standard, not a financial product, payment service, or investment advice. IDAA is not a regulator, government authority or authorised conformity-assessment body, and the 1CAD Protocol does not constitute official or statutory accreditation.

4.2 Membership and Protocol Partner Programmes

IDAA operates two separate, voluntary programmes:

• Membership is an association membership for institutions, firms and individuals who wish to support the development of the 1CAD standard and access resources, regulatory intelligence and the professional network. Membership does not grant any right to implement the 1CAD Protocol for third-party clients.
• Protocol Partner status is a separate programme for firms that implement the 1CAD Protocol for their own clients, granting implementation rights, a partner identifier, protocol tools and a partner-directory listing.

The two programmes are independent: holding one does not confer the other, and the applicable fees, criteria and agreements differ. Neither programme constitutes official or statutory accreditation, certification, licensing or regulatory approval of any participant.

4.3 Case Registry

IDAA operates a case registry for digital asset compliance documentation. Cases are published only with explicit submitter consent. Submission of a case does not guarantee resolution, regulatory action, or financial recovery.

4.4 No Financial Services

IDAA does not provide:

• Investment advice or financial planning
• Legal advice or representation
• Payment processing or custody services
• Tax advice or accounting services
• Regulatory compliance guarantees

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership
